Ethics and values in business will be at the forefront of the discussion when the College of the Holy Cross hosts over 170 alumnae and females students Saturday at the 10th annual Women in Business Conference.
The event is an opportunity for students and businesswomen to learn from one another and network, the college said in a release. This year’s theme is “Major in Anything — Succeed in Business: Creating Your Platform for Success.” The keynote speech will be delivered by Aimee Bell, a 1988 graduate who is deputy editor of Vanity Fair magazine.
Ethics and values will play a major role in the program, with participants learning how to positively impact their organizations without sacrificing their integrity, according to Holy Cross, and to develop their own careers while remaining true to their values.
The ongoing issue of equality in the workplace is another topic attendees will address, the school said.
