The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester has purchased a single-family home at 97 College St. and a three-family structure at 99 College St. for a combined $1.25 million.
The properties will be used for faculty housing rentals, according to an email from Nicoleta Jordan, assistant director of media relations at Holy Cross.
The seller of the houses in the College Hill neighborhood was Jon Tuppa, who received the properties in a transfer from a family trust in September.
The deal was completed on Tuesday, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The City of Worcester assesses the properties for a combined $671,600.
