Hologic, Inc. has named Jan Verstreken as regional vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa and Canada, completing the company’s international sales leadership team.
Verstreken’s appointment is part of Hologic’s mission to strengthen its international capabilities, Steve MacMillan, the company’s chairman, president and CEO said in a Wednesday announcement. The international sales leadership team also includes Sanjay Prabhakaran as regional vice president for Asia Pacific, and Fernando Davico, general manager for Latin America. Both Davico and Prabhakaran joined Hologic last year.
Verstreken is an industry veteran with over 25 years from a career at Teleflex, most recently as president for Asia-Pacific. He also served as president, Asia Pacific, at Baxter International, where drove growth and strategy for more than 10,000 employees. He also led the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics business in Latin America for Johnson & Johnson, where he oversaw 160 employees and more than $160 million in sales. He, along with Prabhakaran and Davico, reports to Hologic COO Eric Compton.
