Hologic ranked #1 in 2021 Mammography Imaging Awards

Marlborough medical device and diagnostics manufacturer Hologic, Inc. was ranked first in several categories of the 2021 IMV ServiceTrak Mammography Imaging Awards released Wednesday.
Hologic won first place in the best customer satisfaction, best system performance, and best service categories.
This is the ninth consecutive year that Hologic has been ranked first in the industry for mammography system performance and customer satisfaction and the seventh year running for mammography service.
According to Hologic, its Genius 3D Mammography exam is the only mammogram FDA approved as superior to conventional mammography for all women, including those with dense breasts, and it detects 20-65% more invasive breast cancers compared to 2D mammography alone.
The ServiceTrak Imaging Awards are presented to the manufacturer with the highest percentage in each of three listed categories. The awards are also based on interviews conducted in 2021 with respondents in 2,045 imaging locations which encompassed 2,910 instruments.
