A Home2 Suites, part of the Hilton hotel company, is coming to Franklin with 100 rooms just off I-495.
The four-story hotel is being built next to a Hampton Inn on Union Street, just off a commercial stretch of King Street. It will include an indoor pool and several function rooms, but no restaurant or bar, according to the Franklin town planning office.
The hotel is slated to open in the spring of 2021, according to Hilton. Jamsan Hotel Management of Lexington will run the facility.
Home2 Suites is a new brand by Hilton, with one existing Massachusetts location in Walpole and others planned in Boston and Raynham. The Hampton Inn adjacent to the planned Franklin location is also a Hilton hotel.
