Heywood Medical Group names new director

Dr. Sari Miettinen, medical director, Heywood Medical Group
Heywood Medical Group in Gardner has promoted pediatrician Dr. Sari Miettinen to be its new medical director.
Miettinen joined Heywood Healthcare in 2015 from Texas Children’s Pediatrics, where she was physician site leader. She also provided well-child and acute care for Navajo children at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in New Mexico.
Miettinen is the founder of Optimum Practice Management, which assists with the development of clinical processes and procedures for new and established medical practices.
Heywood Medical Group is a non-profit physician organization affiliated with Heywood Hospital with more than 20 primary care and specialty physicians.
