The Herb Chambers Cos. has opened a Lincoln dealership at the former location of Herb Chambers Nissan at 75 Otis St. in Westborough.
“The opening of Lincoln of Westborough is a milestone in our long-term strategy to best meet the specific needs of all our customers,” Herb Chambers, founder of the Somerville-based Herb Chambers Cos., in a Wednesday press release.
Located alongside Herb Chambers Ford of Westborough and Herb Chambers INFINITI of Westborough, the dealership will offer new and used vehicles and a service center.
Other dealers of Lincoln vehicles closed in Shrewsbury and Framingham, according to reporting from Community Advocate, who first reported on the approval of the Herb Chambers dealership by Town officials.
Herb Chambers purchased his first car dealership in 1985 and has grown his company into the largest automobile dealership group in the Northeast. Today, The Herb Chambers Cos. comprises 60 automotive dealerships throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with more than 2,200 employees and annual sales of more than $2.8 billion, according to the press release.
