Title: Interior Designer

Career highlights:
For the past nine years, I have been employed with Maugel Architects providing commercial interior design services. My forte is programming and space planning. However, I also perform all phases of design including but not limited to schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration. Prior to working for Maugel Architects, I was part of the design department for Creative Office Pavilion. In 1996, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at Chamberlayne School of Design located at Mount Ida College in Newton.

Community involvement:
For the past eight years, I have been raising funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to find a cure for the devastating disease. I originally began seeking money for MS because I felt it was a good cause. In 2000 I was diagnosed with MS and finding a cure became a personal endeavor. To date, I have raised approximately $42,000.
I also participated in the Big-Brother/Big-Sister program. I found the experience to be fulfilling as well as trying. The time with my little taught me how fortunate I was with my up-bringing and not to take anything for granted.

Businessperson she most admires and why:
Brent Maugel. I have worked alongside Brent for the past nine years. He is a talented architect who started his career and business from nothing. He is ambitious, driven and goal oriented. But first and foremost, he is the most caring person I have met. Brent puts people before business and is always supportive of others’ goals
