The Heart to Hub train out of Worcester’s Union Station will be back beginning in November, after being paused back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
When it resumes on Nov. 2, the express service will be moved to a more favorable time, said Justin Thompson, spokesman for Keolis Commuter Services, which operates the MBTA service. The service will now arrive in Boston at 7:37 a.m. and depart Boston at 4:35 p.m. A stop in Framingham has been added in both directions, according to the fall schedule.Â
The return of the Heart to Hub line was announced alongside a number of other adjustments to the commuter rail schedule. Among the changes to impact the Worcester/Framingham line are two more weekly trips, up to 56 versus 54 last fall, and three express trains to provide inbound arrival in Boston from 6:30 a.m. to 9Â a.m. and departing outbound from 3:30 p.m. to 6Â p.m.
The entire fall schedule is available online.
