HealthAlliance to open urgent care center in Leominster
From minor scrapes and sprains to broken bones and animal bites, non-life threatening emergencies often lead patients to higher-cost visits to hospital emergency rooms.
To help meet the needs of these patients, HealthAlliance will be opening an urgent care center in Leominster this fall, the hospital announced Wednesday.
While an exact opening date for the center is not yet available, this new center will be located in the Marshall’s Mall at 510 N. Main St. and will provide immediate care to up to 50 patients a day, with the potential to grow both at this site and by adding additional locations, according to a HealthAlliance spokeswoman.
