Health restaurant is one of three new Front Street tenants

Courtesy The developer of 145 Front St. at City Square has leased three, ground-level retail spaces, adding to progress of the mixed-use, luxury apartment project in downtown Worcester.

A health-conscious chain restaurant is one of three new, ground-level tenants at 145 Front St. at City Square in downtown Worcester, broker NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs announced Wednesday.

Protein House, which Glickman Kovago described as a “high-end, health-conscious” restaurant chain, will occupy 2,185 square feet of the 340-unit luxury apartment community. Meanwhile, Fidelity Cooperative Bank and Elizabeth Grady, which provides spa services and high-end skin care products, have leased 3,005 square feet and 1,791 square feet, respectively. Fidelity will operate a full-service branch there, and Elizabeth Grady will operate a spa.

“We’ve carefully selected these retailers to add a new and unique dynamic to the mix of shops and restaurants opening for business in Worcester’s increasingly vibrant downtown,” Ivan Baron, chief legal officer for Roseland Residential Trust, the project developer, said in the statement.

According to the Protein House restaurants site, the chain has locations in six states, mostly in the West, but is planning several more locations, including one in Boston.

The $564M multi-phased Roseland development, situated between City Hall and Union Station, is one of the largest public-private development projects in Massachusetts, with more than 2.2 million square feet of commercial, medical, retail, entertainment, and residential space, according to Glickman Kovago. Two retail units of approximately 1,700 square feet each are still available for lease.
