Insurance company Health New England has appointed Michael Marrone as the company’s chief financial officer.
Marrone will lead all aspects of financial strategy for the nonprofit health plan that is based in Springfield, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baystate Health and serves members throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Health New England offers a range of health care plans in the commercial, Medicaid and Medicare markets.
Prior to joining Health New England, Marrone was CFO-New England Market at Aetna Inc. in Hartford.
