Jennifer Cote has served as interim CFO at Holliston-based Harvard Bioscience since January. The life science equipment manufacturer has now moved to make that role permanent, effective immediately, according to a Tuesday press release from the life science developer.
Cote has been at Harvard Bioscience since May 2022, in the vice president of global finance role before becoming interim CFO.
“Since assuming the role of Interim CFO earlier this year, she has already demonstrated strong leadership, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of our business. We look forward to Jennifer’s ongoing contributions as we focus on our priorities of driving sustainable, profitable growth, improved operating discipline, and reducing our debt,” Jim Green, Harvard Bioscience chairman, president, and CEO, said in the press release.
Before Cote became interim CFO, Michael Rossi was the most recent non-interim CFO at the company. He resigned at the end of 2022, according to a December 12 announcement from the company, after taking on the role in 2019. He is currently CFO at ConcertAI, a data-technology company based in Boston, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Cote was previously head of strategy enablement and finance services for global business services at Bose in Framingham, among other roles at the electronics manufacturer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1901, Harvard Bioscience employs 155 people in Central Massachusetts and 464 worldwide, according to data provided by the company in 2022 to the WBJ Research Department.
