Harvard Bioscience hires new VP from Washington

Holliston biotech Harvard Bioscience on Monday announced Ken Olson has been named vice president and general manager for pre-clinical systems.
Olson will lead the Pre-Clinical Systems Team, which is focused on delivering preclinical products, systems, and services to the drug discovery and development industry. Olson will report directly to Chairman, President and CEO Jim Green.
Olson was most recently a senior vice president for global engineering and operations at Washington cardiology firm Spacelabs Healthcare. Prior to joining Spacelabs, Ken held various leadership positions at ABT Molecular Imaging in Tennessee, Ireland-based Medtronic, and Cardiac Sciences Corp. in Wisconsin.
