Harrington HealthCare System in Southbridge has appointed Michal Frejka as vice president and chief operating officer of Harrington Physician Services.
Frejka has more than 28 years of executive healthcare operations management experience, largely in New York state. Most recently, he worked as COO of Murray Hill Medical Group in Manhattan, Ny. where he ran strategic management, physician management, accounts receivables and compliance.
At Harrington, he will be responsible for operational policies, objectives, and initiatives, including setting the nonprofit up for more growth.
Frejka holds a master’s degree of science in public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in New York. He is a native of Prague, Czech Republic, and lived in Switzerland and Chile as a child before moving to the U.S. and graduating from high school in New Jersey.
