Harrington moving into new Sturbridge space

Harrington Healthcare will anchor a new 43,000-square-foot office building on Route 20 in Sturbridge.

The Southbridge-based healthcare system said Tuesday it is working now on a 6,500-square-foot office it plans to open this fall with 19 exam rooms and on-site laboratory services for primary care and specialty physicians, including endocrinology. Harrington will consolidate its existing Sturbridge medical offices into the new site.

Other tenants are close to signing leases for the remaining space, according to ATM Associates of Sturbridge, which owns and is leasing the building.

The three-story building at 198 Charlton Road is just off the junction of the Massachusetts Turnpike and I-84.

ATM Associates, owned by the same family owning Arland Tool & Manufacturing, a West Brookfield contract manufacturer, owns three other Sturbridge commercial properties: Fiske Hill Plaza at 55 and 57 Main St., the Sturbridge Professional Center at 128 Main St., and the Boardwalk, a plaza at 500 Main St.
