Southbridge-based Harrington Hospital has signed an agreement to offer advanced radiology services through Boston health care giants Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Through Beth Israel, Harvard medical faculty physicians will provide a variety of advanced diagnostic imaging services at Harrington’s facilities in Southbridge, Webster and Charlton.
The agreement with Children’s Hospital allows Children’s to view radiographs, CT scans and MRIs in its Boston campus for review and interpretation. Children’s will also provide full reports to Harrington physicians.
Harrington said its physicians requested that the hospital add pediatric imaging services. Those requests led to the agreement with Children’s.
