YOU Inc., a Worcester-based behavioral health nonprofit and affiliate of the Seven Hills Foundation, announced on Monday it had received a $25,000 grant from The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, the charitable arm of the Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, for the launch of its Whole Health Triage pilot program.
The program will expedite counseling services via a rapid assessment process, and place a dedicated Worcester Family Resource Center care manager on site to connect with community and health resources, according to the press release.
The Whole Health Triage pilot program is expected to increase accessibility to behavioral health services and interventions for youth and their families. The program seeks to reduce wait times for treatment and services, build capacity in the Worcester community for the integration of behavioral health, and focus on care coordination with supports to address health-related social needs, and medical care, per the company’s written statement.
“We are honored to be partnering with The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation on this important initiative. Now all youth and families who visit the Seven Hills Child and Family Behavioral Health Center will have streamlined access to clinical services, as well as rapid connection to wraparound services which address their health-related social needs,” said Kathleen Jordan, Seven Hills Foundation’s executive vice president and CEO, in a written press release.
