The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester is appointing Francisco Aristeguieta to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Aristeguieta serves as a special adviser for Boston financial services firm State Street Corp., having formerly been executive vice president for the financial services group, according to Hanover’s Monday announcement. Prior to his role there, he worked at Citigroup in New York city for 25 years in a variety of different roles, including CEO of itsAsia Pacific and Latin American operations.
"Francisco is a highly accomplished operating executive who will bring excellent and strong perspectives to our boardroom as we continue to support the advancement of The Hanover's mission and strategy,” said Cynthia Egan, chair of the board of directors at The Hanover, in a press release. “We are delighted to welcome him to the board."
Aristeguieta has a bachelor's degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela and an MBA from Brunel University in the United Kingdom.
