The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester promoted Eric Schuler to president of the company’s management and executive liability business.
"The specialty market continues to evolve and grow, and our robust, diversified offering, coupled with our deep experience and strong leadership team, position us well as we look to capitalize on future opportunities and help our agents to do the same,” Specialty President Bryan Salvatore said in a Monday press release from Hanover.
Schuler is replacing Helen Ryan Savaiano, who left the company in October, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Schuler joined Hanover in 2010, according to a Monday press release from the company, most recently serving in the role of vice president of management and executive liability.
Prior to joining Hanover, Schuler held leadership roles with Zurich North America of Illinois.
Jon Martin, former vice president, distribution management, professional lines will succeed Schuler, and Greggory Ketay, former vice president, distribution management will succeed Martin in his vice president role.
