The Hanover Insurance Group has appointed Ellen M. Rizzo as CFO of its property and casualty business.
Rizzo previously served as senior vice president and CFO of business insurance at The Travelers Cos., where she worked for more than 25 years.
In her new role, Rizzo is responsible for financial oversight of the company’s personal lines, commercial lines and claims organizations.
She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in finance from the University of Connecticut.
