The Greater Worcester Community Foundation appointed four new members to its board of directors and corporators at its annual meeting this fall.
Members of the 21-person volunteer board serve staggered four-year terms.
Michael Angelini is the chairman of Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey, where he serves as an advisor to companies across the Northeast and as a trial lawyer concentrating in resolving business disputes. He serves as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has received the Massachusetts Bar Association’s community service award twice.
Lisa McDonough serves as a member of the C. Jean and Myles McDonough Charitable Foundation in Worcester. She is the vice president of the Worcester Art Museum.
Sonia Paulino is an alumna of the business training program Leadership Worcester and a software developer at Worcester Public Schools.
Eric Torkornoo is vice president at the T.D Bank location in Worcester. He is a clerk for the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Worcester Regional Research Bureau.
The GWCF has served the area since 1975. Through partnerships with donors, it has built a $163-million endowment and has awarded almost $125 million in grants.
