Just in time to take the edge off of a hard-fought Monday, Greater Good Imperial Brewing Co. having its opening at 4 p.m. today on Millbrook Street in Worcester.
The brewery, which specializes in imperial beer - at least 8-percent alcohol - announced Sunday night a soft opening for their growing social media following less than 24 hours before they welcome their first guests to the taproom.
The brewery invited its growing social following to "take the edge off a hard-fought Monday."

Monday’s soft opening coincides with the brewery’s release of Evana, a Russian Imperial stout, the brewery announced on Facebook and Twitter.
“We might even have some more surprises for sale!!” the brewery added.
Founder Paul Wengender could not immediately be reached for comment Monday morning.
Greater Good becomes the fourth commercial brewery and taproom in Worcester along with Wormtown Brewery, Flying Dreams Brewing and 3Cross Brewing Co.
The 10,000-square-foot space - which also features a kitchen and full menu - will be open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
