Gonze To Grow Southborough Firm

Averion International Corp. of Southborough has appointed pharmaceutical executive Peter C. Gonze as executive vice president of global business development.
The company said Gonze will be responsible for expanding Averion's presence in the U.S. and Europe and in "emerging regions of the world."
Gonze has been in pharmaceutical sales for more than 35 years and has been COO of Maryland-based Unither Pharmaceuticals Inc. for the past six years.
Averion is a clinical research organization that works in oncology, cardiology and medical devices.
