Globoforce, a software developer of reward and recognition programs in Westboro, has named Ben Miele vice president of sales, North America, in a Boston-based position.
Miele joins the company from Webhire, a Boston-based talent-management software firm. While there, Miele was vice president of sales and business development, handling new customer acquisition and business development initiatives. Prior to that, Miele was responsible for the Information Technology Practice at Brainshark, Inc., a Waltham-based media communications firm. He also held positions with Envoy Worldwide and Sitara Networks Inc.
"The strategic hire of a vice president of sales, North America, reflects our commitment to building scale in the U.S.," said Eric Mosley, Globoforce of CEO.
