South Windsor-based Gerber Scientific reported a net income of $3 million in Q3 FY 2008, up from $2.2 million at the same time a year ago.
The company reported 13 cents per diluted share on revenue of $152 million in the third quarter of this year compared to 10 cents per diluted share on revenue of $137.1 million at the same time last year. Gerber also reported an increase in operating income to $6.3 million from $4 million a year earlier.
Marc T. Giles, president and CEO of Gerber, cited the sign making and specialty graphics segment and strong performance in the Spandex business for the revenue growth.
