Jos van der Woert will be the CEO of Worcester-based Antigen Express once it becomes independent from its parent company, Generex Biotechnology.
Generex, which is based in Toronto, announced plans in March to spinoff Antigen Express as its own public company. There is no announced timetable as to when that will happen.
Van der Woert was a general manager at Schering-Plough Corp. and spent 17 years with Bristol-Myers Squibb before starting a consulting firm in 2010. Eric von Hofe will remain Antigen’s president.
