Workers' Credit Union of Fitchburg has elected J. Paul H. Gauvin, president of Fitchburg beauty supply company Henri Enterprises Inc., to its board of directors.
The credit union also re-elected Jonathan Ratila, treasurer and business manager of the Raivaaja Publishing Co. in Fitchburg, to the board. Both directors will serve three-year terms, expiring in 2012.
Gauvin is involved in many community organizations, including the Center for Well Being, the Salvation Army, the Crocker Field Restoration Committee, the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Fitchburg, Thayer Symphony Orchestra and Sacred Heart Parish in West Fitchburg. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Nichols College in Dudley.
Ratila has been a member of the credit union's board since 1986. He serves as clerk, chairman of the audit committee and a member of the investment committee. He is also a trustee of the Fitchburg Public Library and a member of the Fitchburg Historical Society.
