Massachusetts gas prices rose three cents this week, bringing the total increase for the past month to 36 cents, according to AAA Southern New England.
Self-serve regular unleaded averaged $3.479 per gallon in the state, eight cents below the national average. The Massachusetts average price was $3.60 for medium unleaded, $3.71 for premium unleaded and $3.95 for diesel.
