Gas Prices Rise Again, Up 3 Cents

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts rose three cents this week, according to AAA Southern New England.

AAA’s survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.589 per gallon, three cents more than a week ago. Prices locally are up 20 cents over the past month. The current price is three cents below the national average for self-serve unleaded of $3.61, but 15 cents less than the Massachusetts average price during the same week in 2011.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 37 cents, from a low of $3.44 to a high of $3.81.
