Following a 6-cent increase last week, gas prices were unchanged this week, according to AAA Southern New England.
Today’s survey of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline in Massachusetts found that the average price held steady at $3.73 per gallon, up 18 cents in the past month. The current price is 2 cents below the national average, but 12 cents above last year’s state average of $3.61 per gallon.
The range in prices in the Bay State is 27 cents, from a low of $3.62 to a high of $3.89.
The average price of diesel rose 4 cents since last week, to $4.02 per gallon.
