Gas Prices Finally Down

For the first time in 2012, Massachusetts gas prices have dropped, falling 2 cents over the past week, according to AAA Southern New England.

As of today, the state’s average gas price stands at $3.71 per gallon. That’s still 15 cents higher than a month ago and 24 cents higher than a year ago. However, it’s also 9 cents below the national average of $3.80.
