Seeing their biggest drop since the last week of October, gas prices fell 7 cents this week, to an average of $3.47 per gallon, according to AAA Southern New England.
Prices of self-serve, regular unleaded are down 14 cents in the past month, AAA said. The current price remains above the national average of $3.34 per gallon and higher than it was a year ago by 20 cents.
The average cost of a gallon of diesel fuel has remained at $4.08 for nearly a month.
