Falling for the eighth consecutive week, gas prices in Massachusetts dropped 8 cents this week, according to AAA Southern New England.
The June 11 survey found that self-serve, regular unleaded averaged $3.48 per gallon, 6 cents below the national average. Prices ranged 66 cents in the Bay State, from $3.23 to $3.89.
Massachusetts prices are 41 cents below peak prices in the April 16 survey. The state average was $3.71 a year ago.
The average for diesel fuel is $3.86.
