Gas prices fell for the second consecutive week, dropping 7 cents this week, AAA Southern New England said.
AAA found that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline in the Bay State is $3.76, down 7 cents in the past month. The state average is 9 cents above the national average of $3.67. Last year at this time, the average was $3.42.
The range in prices is 36 cents, from a low of $3.63 to a high of $3.99.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel fell 3 cents, to $4.09 a gallon.
