Falling another five cents in the past week, Massachusetts gas prices are now 46 cents below April’s peak, according to AAA Southern New England.
Prices are down for the ninth week in a row, with self-serve, unleaded regular averaging $3.43 on June 18. That’s 7 cents below the national average. A year ago, the Massachusetts average was $3.68.
The range in prices for unleaded regular is 41 cents, from a low of $3.28 to a high of $3.69. The statewide average for diesel is $3.84.
