Gas prices in Massachusetts fell seven cents over the past week to $3.669 for a gallon of regular unleaded, according to AAA Southern New England.
It’s the second week in a row of falling prices, after a month of increases pushed the price to a recent high of $3.759 at the beginning of August.
The current price is nearly a dollar above the average one year ago, which was $2.68. It’s also seven cents above the national average.
