Gas prices rose again this week, up 6 cents, after jumping 9 cents last week, according to AAA Southern New England.
According to the group’s weekly survey, the average cost of self-service, regular unleaded gasoline in Massachusetts is $3.73 per gallon.
Prices are 17 cents higher than last month and the state’s current average is 1 cent above the national average. A year ago, the average in Massachusetts was $3.64.
The range in the Bay State is 30 cents, from a low of $3.59 to a high of $3.89.
Diesel prices also rose, up 11 cents from last week to an average of $3.98 per gallon.
