Garlock Printing and Converting has rebranded itself as Garlock Flexibles and sold its 77 Industrial Rowe location in Gardner for $9.6 million to a Pennsylvania investment firm in a sale-leaseback deal.
“We have updated our brand name, logo, and logotype to new brand marks that more accurately reflect who we are and what we represent in the marketplace today,” the company posted on its LinkedIn page in September. Garlock Flexibles produces printed film packaging mainly for the packaged food industry.
Garlock sold its 77 Industrial Rowe facility in Gardner to VF Garlock LLC, an affiliate of Valley Forge Financial Group of Audubon, Pennsylvania on Friday, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
National real estate firm JLL, which has a Boston office, in a listing on its website that has since been removed said it was the exclusive sales agent for the property and listed the property as a sale-leaseback opportunity, saying Garlock intended to sign a 10-15-year lease at market-rate rent. JLL did not respond to requests for comment.
Another investment firm, Royal Oak Realty Trust of Rochester, New York purchased another Garlock location at 164 Fredette St. for $5.4 million in August. Garlock still operates at that location as well. Royal Oak owns Garlock’s Reno, Nevada, facility.
