Funds For Grafton Restoration

Apple Tree Arts of Grafton has received a $250,000 state grant to restore the Grafton Town House.

The money comes from the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund. The project is intended to support tourism and help the local economy by making the 150-year-old building into a tourist destination.

The money will help both to restore the building and to make it accessible to people with disabilities.

The state capital investment plan includes $7 million for the Cultural Facilities Fund to pay for projects like this one.
