Fuel Cell Maker Goes Commercial

Southborough-based fuel cell-maker Protonex Technology Corp. has launched a new web site to showcase its non-military products.

Until now, the company has directed attention to its portable military fuel cells. But the company says it’s ready to market back-up power cells for the telecommunications industry, recreational uses, emergency power systems, renewable remote and off-grid power, mobile power and professional power, such as scientific equipment and power tools.

The new web site is intended to provide details on the commercial uses for Protonex equipment, and “to offer attractive value propositions” to potential commercial customers.
