Danbury-based Fuel Cell Energy Inc., a manufacturer of high efficiency power plants, has reported a product sale and revenue increase of 65 percent.
The company’s total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2007 were $16.5 million, compared to $9.1 million at the same time last year. FCE reported Q4 2007 of $48.2 million from $33.3 million in 2006. Product sales and revenues increased 51.1 percent in the fourth quarter of this year from $21.5 million at the same time last year.
The company cited a product cost-to-revenue ratio improvement over last year, mainly attributed to lower production costs and a favorable product mix. Â
