FSU To Cut Ribbon On $47M Dorm

Officials at Framingham State University are set to cut the ribbon next week on a brand new, 410-bed, $47 million residence hall that has opened in time to welcome students back to campus this fall.

FSU worked with Milford-based Consigli Construction to erect the dorm, which towers over Route 9 in Framingham at the corner of State and High Streets. The facility includes four-person suites, conjoined double rooms and single rooms and is targeted for upper-class students. The building also features an underground geothermal well to heat and cool the building and other “green” amenities.

The ribbon cutting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 4 p.m.
