FRESH BEGINNINGS

The Cellular Connection/Verizon is open at 3 Highland Commons East, Ste. 100, in Hudson. The new store is near the Market Basket; a grand opening celebration was held Jan. 29.

The Center for Applied Behavioral Instruction will be operating as a private day school, with a provisional license granted by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The school, in Worcester, offers a new option for students with autism spectrum disorders or challenging behaviors. The school is now accepting applications for students aged 6 to 22.

The Heywood Urgent Care Center opened in Gardner on Jan. 15. The new site will serve those who can't see their primary care physician or don't have one. The Heywood Healthcare facility will be open seven days a week, at 266 Main St. in Gardner.

GravOxy Fitness is open on South Avenue in Natick. The fitness studio is owned by Joanne Schmalenberger.

Worcester Workforce Central Career Center and the Central Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board have moved to a new location at 340 Main St., Ste. 400 in Worcester.

EXIT Real Estate Executives, formerly Quaboag Valley Real Estate, has opened at 23 Fiskdale Road in Brookfield. The brokerage is owned by Michelle Terry. Part of every transaction fee collected by EXIT International is applied to its charitable fund.

Leominster agencies Judy A. Mendolusky Insurance and Anderson, Bagley & Mayo Insurance have merged. Owner Judy Mendolusky joins the team at the Anderson, Bagley & Mayo location at 44 Main St.

Harrington HealthCare System will open an urgent care center in Oxford early this summer; it already has a site in Charlton. Harrington Physician Services signed a lease to renovate 5,000 square feet at 78 Sutton Ave., creating 11 exam rooms and X-ray and lab services. The building — across the street from Market Basket, Home Depot and the new Oxford Crossing retail center — is owned by Dorr Aviation Credit Corp.

Whitinsville Christian School is embarking on a $12.6-million, 33,000-square-foot project, adding a second floor of the school. Maynard-based JM Coull is the builder; the design firm is Dixon Salo Architects of Worcester.
