Fallon Health of Worcester has opened a new PACE, or Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, program in Buffalo, N.Y. It's the seventh site and first in New York for the program, which is administered by MassHealth and Medicare. There are two PACE sites in Worcester; the others are in Charlton, Leominster, Springfield and Lowell.
Construction has begun at Homewood Suites by Hilton at 212 Summer St. in downtow Worcester. The hotel, owned by First Bristol Corp., is a $21-million project. The completed hotel will be six stories high with about 120 long-term stay rooms.
Shirley-based CELLTREAT Scientific Products, which supplies cell culture and liquid handling products, is moving and expanding its offices and operations. Construction is underway at a new site in Pepperell, with an estimated completion date of June 1. The new facility will be 60-percent larger than the current location, to enable the company to perform more warehousing and shipping capabilities and for expansion of the company's product development, production and product application testing.
Charter Communications' Worcester store at 95 Higgins St. and the 296 Providence Road store in Grafton both relocated to a new, state-of-the-art Charter Spectrum Store at 867 Grafton St. in Worcester.
