PLC Systems Inc., which makes cardiac and vascular medical devices in Franklin, expects two of its products to receive patents later this year.
The company’s product is named Renal Guard Therapy, which aims to reduce the negative effects medical imaging equipment can have on certain patients during procedures.
The company received notices of allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, a signal that patents could be awarded this year.
