Framingham-based Sincere Corp. acquired internet company Timehop as part of its brands.

The acquisition was announced Tuesday in a press release from the company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“At Sincere, we build products that have heart,” Sincere Corp. Founder and CEO Matt Douglas said in the press release. “We are thrilled to welcome Timehop and their incredible team into our family of brands. Timehop is another example of how our products bring you closer and help show you care to the people in your life who matter the most.”

Founded in 2011, Timehop enables users to access content from a specific day in the past, allowing users to connect their photos and social media accounts to create a personal memory archive.

Sincere also owns Punchbowl, which specializes in online greeting cards and invitations, and Memento, which allows people to create shared photo albums. Sincere invested in the platform Bookclubs, which helps people to organize book clubs.

The company created the Sincere Foundation to fund organizations operating in Massachusetts and awarded three $25,000 grants to local organizations including Boston-based Haley House and One Family; and Framingham-based Hoops & Homework.

Austin-based Navidar Group served as the exclusive financial advisor to Sincere on the transaction. SG Credit Partners of Newport Beach, Calif. financed Sincere’s growth acquisition strategy, according to the press release.
