Framingham State University will freeze 2021-2022 tuition and fees

Framingham State University will freeze undergraduate tuition and fees, as well as standard housing rates, for the 2021-2022 academic year, in an attempt to provide relief to students and families experiencing hard times, the school announced on Monday.

Full board approval of the plan is expected in January.

Current in-state tuition and fees at FSU are $11,380 a year.

At the same time, FSU has increased college and foundation support for student financial aid by more than $1 million in recent years, and the state has approved an increase in MassGrant funding for state universities.

FSU expects more than $1 million in additional financial aid to be available for its students by the next academic year.
