Timothy Flanagan, president of Framingham State College, has been selected to fill a three-year term on the Committee on Teacher Education of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU).Â
The AASCU, a Washington-based organization of 435 state colleges and universities, named Flanagan to the Committee on Teacher Education to advise on topics such as promoting partnerships between colleges and K-12 schools, addressing teacher shortages, and building the professional development of teachers and administrators.Â
Flanagan has served in colleges and universities for more than three decades, and joined Framingham State College in August.Â
