An 840-kilowatt Framingham solar farm on 721 Waverly St. Has sold for $1.95 million, according to Southborough-based Metrowest Commercial Real Estate, which represents the property’s new owners.
Sale data had not yet been filed in public databases as of Tuesday morning, including information about the previous owner.
The property’s new owners plan to build a 100,000-square-foot industrial building on the land. Marlene Aron of Metrowest Commercial Real Estate will handle leasing when the building is ready for occupancy, which is slated for the end of 2021. Solar panels on the property will be placed on top of the new building.
At the same time, Metrowest Commercial Real Estate also announced an April 30 sale of a 4,924-square-foot office building at 281 Pleasant St., in Framingham, for $632,000. The building was purchased by Framingham nonprofit Jeff’s Place, a group specializing in grief counseling for children.
The building was previously owned by Summit Montessori School.
